Children’s Sunday School

Sundays at 9:15 a.m. during the school year

Our goal in Children’s Ministries is to partner with parents in building their children’s theological foundations.  At Christ Lutheran we teach in a creative manner that nurtures our children’s excitement and develops their emotional and intellectual ties with the Christian faith.  We make church, scripture, and tradition familiar and comfortable for our children so they feel loved and secure, are able to build relationships with peers and adults, and begin to understand what God’s unconditional love in the person of Jesus means for them and our world.

Our Children’s Sunday School program is for children 3 years old through fifth grade, and we utilize the Augsburg Fortress’ Spark series curriculum. Each week children will wonder about a story of God’s relationship with God’s people!  Sunday school is held during the school year from 9:15–10:15 a.m.  We take a break in the summer to redevelop our curriculum and allow our volunteer teachers a break.
